Lino Printmaking Workshop
Learn how to make your own editioned handmade mini prints by carving lino in this brand new one evening workshop.
All materials are provided including lino, ink and papers. You should be able to create a few prints in the 2hr session. Once you have learnt the technique you will have all the knowledge to re-use your stamp to make more from your own home!
Taking influence from artists Edvard Munch, Ludwig Kirchner and Tom Hammick our talented teacher Katie will explain how to:
- Prepare and carve an image onto 750mm x 750mm lino by hand using traditional tools
- Align layers using artist's registeration
- Ink up and print in one or two colours
- Sign and edition your prints
